Science of Recitation, Tajweed
Ustadha Noshin is an accomplished and experienced teacher of the science of recitation of the Qur’an. In 2005, after completing her university studies she decided to travel to the blessed lands of Shaam. She was fortunate to spend two years studying Tajweed and other Islamic sciences in Damascus. During her time there she was also honoured to attend many of the classes and gatherings of Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi and other great scholars of Syria.
Ustadha Noshin was awarded her ijaza to teach the Science of Recitation of the Noble Quran by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi. She was also awarded ijaza by the late Shaykh Abul Hassan al Kurdi who was amongst the seven reciters of Damascus.
Whilst in Syria Ustadha Noshin had the honour and benefit of reciting to some of the greatest reciters of our time including Shaykh Shukri al Luhafi. Ustadha Noshin is currently the head of women and children’s education at Al Huda Zawiya in Dewsbury, Yorkshire.
She delivers Tajweed courses at Al Huda Zawiya for female students from all over the North of England. Ustadha Noshin has a degree in Applied Industrial Chemistry and a Masters in Polymer Engineering and Science. She is married with three children masha Allah and resides in Yorkshire.
